Get into the spirit of a lip-smacking variety of sangrias and tapas dining at Lodi – The Garden Restaurant, New Delhi.
Tapas on the cards
You will fall in love with Spanish cuisine all over again as you savor its authentic flavors at the ongoing Tapas and Sangria Food Festival at Lodi – The Garden Restaurant. Tapas are snacks, canapés or finger food that originated in Spain. Tapas come in many different forms and can vary from town to town! The special tapas menu at the Lodi includes Gambas al Ajillo, Pollo al Pimenton, Calamari a la Plancha, Setas in vinegar, Tortilla Espanola, Patatas alioli, Benderillas. Relish pan fried shrimp graciously smothered with extra virgin oil and garlic, sherry vinegar infused with fresh mushrooms and aromatic herbs, leek omelette layered with spinach, potato and red onion, grilled baby squids with fresh parsley, and luscious grilled chicken marinated with sweet paprika and chives, and more. Get spoilt for choice and taste!
For the high spirited
Sangria is for those with a taste for fine dining. This delicious fruit-based wine “punch” with its traditional heritage well rooted in Spain, offers delightful concoctions made with red wine, fresh, seasonal fruit and a bit of bubbly water or citrus flavored soda. Our personal favorite is Rose Sangria, Kiwi rosemary sangria, and Lodi Special. Also on offer is Spiced Sangria, Garden Sangria and Mango Sangria.
Kudos to the Executive Chef, Elam Singh Rana, who has so tastefully designed this menu. The festival will run until July 31,2014. A meal for two people will cost Rs 1800 (exclusive of taxes).
So come and enjoy a great feast over special Sangria which are perfectly paired with these Tapas. And you’d soon after wish that it was part of their regular menu!
