Fricassee of wild mushrooms, marinated sea scallop, and crispy pork belly are some appetizers on the menu list that will awaken all your senses. If you are a caviar person then there are three different flavors ranging from $190- $470 for 50g. The main course has Chef Daniel’s signature dishes – the sea bass and the duo tasting of beef. If you are looking for a pairing that gives you true value for your money then you can choose to order the seven course tasting menu and pair it up with premium wines.
Each vegetarian dish is a flavorful art piece at Daniel’s, starting from the salad and pastas to the homemade ricotta fagotini having sweet English peas, buttermilk foam, mousserons and mint oil. For a fixed price of $125 you can order an excellent three course vegetarian meal.
Cocktail and Wine
At Daniel’s the cocktail evolves along with the season. Chef Boulud gives a twist of taste to the classic Negroni by serving the Duke with a hollow sphere of ice.
Spanning over 15 countries, Daniel’s has over 2000 wine selections. Each wine is savored when it tastes the best and until then they are carefully kept in the cellar having proper wine storage conditions. The wine list at Daniel is very carefully selected by Raj Vaidya so that the wine list has something to offer for every palate.
When it comes to desserts, even the ingredients mentioned as a description on the menu list sound delicious – Strawberry-Saunternes Sorbet, Yogurt mousse with mango lassi sorbet, rhubarb cream etc. The chocolate section is so tempting that you will find it difficult to order only a few. For ice creams you can choose from citrus confit, cocoa nib, sunflower seed, red fruit black teaand many more.
Cuisine for Events
To celebrate the flavors of the seasonal ingredients, you can have a custom menu created by Chef Boulud especially for your private event.
You can plan for a six course dinner event or have a three-course luncheon and keep it simple. They also have a provision to plan for the legendary wedding cuisines and also organize for dinner rehearsals. There are two rooms specially designed for weddings. The Bellecour Room is designed for the wedding ceremony having seating arrangements for 90 guests. The dining room can accommodate 140 guests.
Daniel has a dress code that guests need to follow strictly. To share a piece, sneakers and caps are not on the list.
