BURGER KING launched in India with their first outlet in Select City Walk, Saket, New Delhi. PioneerChef went to be a part of that historic moment and returned not much disappointed. Here’s a brief review…
Mark my words: You can comfortably shed all your apprehensions before entering the gates of BURGER KING in India. The BURGER KING menu in India is hugely and immensely Indianized. You are up for a ‘disappointment’ if you intend to go their in search for a truly American hamburger or want to try new and distant flavours.
BURGER KING in India is serving burgers that are Indian in flavor to their core. A few of the varieties definitely come with a twist that too would please any Indian palette only.
Technically the menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian & non-vegetarian burgers with quality ingredients across various price-points and is designed to help consumers find options to suit their needs. Quite on the lines of the other fast-food chains, BURGER KING has also created a special upgrade option for Indian customers where one can upgrade any burger to a combo including a beverage and fries for an additional Rs 50 only.
BURGER KING’s iconic WHOPPER
If you are seriously hungry and want to fill big time, go for it. It’s quite yummy and very very filling. Spice lovers may find it a bit on the blander side but the juices definitely fill every corner of your mouth. Worth a try!
For Punjabi tadka lovers, BURGER KING Grilled Chicken & Chicken Tandoor are the bets. Spicy, yummy, Chicken-tikka flavored burgers that’ll not disappoint for sure.
Delight for vegetarians
I personally feel that vegetarians gonna relish BURGER KING India more than anybody else. The Crispy Cheese variants definitely take you to a different level altogether and after relishing them you are bound to forget Mc’s Veggie options forever.
